Welcome to the new GuideStar site. This guide will review the site's new and improved features so you can more easily locate vital information about associations, or enhance your organizational profile with information that is useful and interesting to donors, researchers and others taking an interest (for additional information about editing profiles, click here.)
Governmental information and information provided by the NPOSome of the data on the GuideStar site comes directly from the Registrar of Non-Profit Organizations, the various tax authorities and the Ministry of Justice. These data appear for nearly all the organizations (except in cases where the information is not accessible). This type of data includes: the organization's goals, address, various financial reports, a list of the organization's most highly compensated employees, the names of the organization's founders, government support received by the organization, and more.
Governmental information is noted by the following graphic:
In contrast, a great deal of information provided by the organization itself is also available and paints a more comprehensive and broader picture of its activities. For example, the organization's internet site, the areas of its activity, the story behind its creation, photos of activities held by the organization, branch office addresses, information about volunteering and making donations, position papers and reports, and more. We warmly recommend that you augment your organizational profile in order to enhance your online presence and to provide as much information to those interested in your activities.

Please note: Different information may appear in content areas added by other organizations since each organization can select to provide information of different types – some will upload information about their staff and prizes they were awarded while others will limit themselves to uploading photos from activities or position papers.
In the event that you believe the information uploaded by an organization is harmful or inappropriate in any way, please click on the relevant link and report it and we will make every attempt to address the problem.
